Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to the Tea Too Pty Ltd website (“Website”). Tea Too Pty Ltd provides services to you subject to the following Terms of Use, which may be amended by us from time to time with no notice to you. When using any Tea Too Pty Ltd service you are also subject to any rules or guidelines which may be posted, or emailed from time to time. All such rules or guidelines are hereby incorporated by reference into the Terms of Use.
Your continued use of the Website constitutes an affirmative, acknowledgment and agreement by you that you accept and agree to abide and be bound by these Terms of Use and any amendments.
These Terms of Use will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Victoria, Australia. You irrevocably and unconditionally submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria. If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, that clause will be severed from these Terms of Use and such invalidity or unenforceability will not affect the remainder of the Terms of Use which will continue in full force and effect.
For the purpose of these Terms of Use, “Content” means material such as text, software, images, audio and video, including links to that material.
Accuracy of Information
All material on the Website is provided in good faith. It is derived from sources believed to be accurate and current as at the date of publication. Your use of the Website is at your sole risk. Access to the Website is provided on an 'as available' basis. Neither Tea Too Pty Ltd its related bodies corporate nor its or their directors or employees make any representation or warranty that (i) any material on the Website will be reliable, accurate or complete (nor do they accept any responsibility arising in any way for errors in, or omissions from that material); or (ii) your access to the Website will be uninterrupted, timely or secure. Tea Too Pty Ltd will not be liable for loss resulting from any action or decision by you in reliance on the information on the Website, nor any interruption, delay in operation or transmission, virus, communications failure, Internet access difficulties, or malfunction in equipment or software.
Product Descriptions
Tea Too Pty Ltd and its related bodies corporate attempt to be as accurate as possible in the description of products. However, Tea Too Pty Ltd does not warrant that product descriptions are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
Limitation of Liability
The Trade Practices Act and similar state and territory legislation in Australia may confer rights and remedies on you in relation to the provision by Tea Too Pty Ltd of goods or services on the web site which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified ("Non-excludable Rights"). Tea Too Pty Ltd does not exclude any Non-excludable Rights but does exclude all other conditions and warranties implied by custom, law or statute.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, under no circumstances (including but not limited to any act or omission on the part of Tea Too Pty Ltd) will Tea Too Pty Ltd or its related bodies corporate be liable for any indirect, incidental, special and/or consequential damages or loss of profits, revenue or goodwill whatsoever which result from any use or access of, or any inability to use or access, the Web Site or any Content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tea Too Pty Ltd‘s liability for breach of any implied warranty or condition which cannot be excluded is limited, at the option of Tea Too Pty Ltd, to the following:
- in the case of services supplied or offered by Tea Too Pty Ltd, (a) the supply of the services again, or (b) the payment of the cost of having services supplied again; and
- in the case of goods supplied or offered by Tea Too Pty Ltd, (a) the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods, (b) the repair of such goods, (c) the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or acquiring equivalent goods, or (d) the payment of the cost of having the goods repaired.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmlessTea Too Pty Ltd and its related bodies corporate (and the officers, agents, partners and employees of each of these) against any and all loss, liability, claim or demand arising out of or in connection with your use and access to the Website.
Copyright
The material provided on the Website is copyright protected. You may only use this material for your own private and non-commercial purposes. Except for the temporary copy held in the computer's cache and a single permanent copy for your personal reference, the material may not otherwise be used, copied, reproduced, published, stored in a retrieval system, altered or transmitted in any form or by any means in whole or part (except where such use constitutes fair dealing under the Copyright Act) without the prior written approval of Tea Too Pty Ltd or the appropriate supplier or licensor of Tea Too Pty Ltd.

The Tea Too Pty Ltd logo and the logos of the Tea Too Pty Ltd products are registered trademarks of Tea Too Pty Ltd or its related bodies corporate. Other trademarks may be displayed on the Website from time to time. These may belong to third parties. Nothing displayed on the Website should be construed as granting any licence or right of use of any logo or trademark displayed on a web site, without the express written permission of the relevant owner.
Your Account, Membership and/or Registration
In consideration of your use of the Website, you agree to:
- provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the web site’s registration form (such information being the "Registration Data"); and
- maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete.
In particular to register, you must provide your real name and email address. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or Tea Too Pty Ltd has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, Tea Too Pty Ltd has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the Website (or any portion thereof).

Tea Too Pty Ltd may from time to time monitor or review the contents of its Communication Facilities. While Tea Too Pty Ltd reserves its right to edit, refuse to post or to remove any information and/or materials (in whole or in part) that in Tea Too Pty Ltd’s sole discretion is in any way objectionable or in violation of any applicable law or the Terms of Use, Tea Too Pty Ltd has no obligation whatsoever to monitor any Communication Facility or to edit, delete or refuse to post such contents, nor is Tea Too Pty Ltd responsible for any contents in any Communication Facilities (including any information, comments and/or advice of any individual referred to as guest or expert whose statements on the web site are solely their own). You expressly acknowledge and agree that the Communication Facilities provide a means of public and not private communications.
Tea Too Pty Ltd reserves the right to cooperate fully with any law enforcement authority in any jurisdiction in respect of any lawful direction or request to disclose the identity or other information in respect of anyone posting any materials which violate any applicable or relevant law.
Contributions
Tea Too Pty Ltd may permit you to make share, publish, post, store or upload information including data, text, video, still images, audio or other material on the Website (“Contributions”). You retain sole responsibility for and accept all liability for all Contributions you make to the Website and Tea Too Pty Ltd disclaims any and all liability in connection with Contributions. Tea Too Pty Ltd assumes no responsibility for monitoring any Contributions, and does not endorse the information Contributions. Tea Too Pty Ltd is under no obligation to treat your Contribution as confidential.
Tea Too Pty Ltd may at any time, without liability to you, remove, alter or disable access to any or all of your Contributions in its sole discretion without prior notice to you.
User Licence To Tea Too Pty Ltd
By placing any Contributions, information or other material on the Website (including posting messages, uploading files, inputting data or engaging in any other form of communication), you grant to Tea Too Pty Ltd and its related bodies corporate a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, irrevocable, unrestricted, worldwide licence to do the following in respect of the Contributions, information or material:
- use, copy, sublicense, redistribute, adapt, transmit, publish and/or broadcast, publicly perform or display, and
- sublicense to any third parties the unrestricted right to exercise any of the foregoing rights granted.
The foregoing grant includes the right to exploit all proprietary rights in any such information or other material, including but not limited to rights under copyright, trademark, service mark or patent laws under any jurisdiction worldwide. You expressly waive in favour of Tea Too Pty Ltd and any other party authorised by Tea Too Pty Ltd all moral rights and any similar rights in any jurisdiction which you may have or hereafter acquire in respect of any relevant communication or other material. At the request and expense of Tea Too Pty Ltd, you will execute and deliver to Tea Too Pty Ltd such instruments and take such other actions as may be required to carry out this grant of licence and waiver.
Online Security
At Tea Too Pty Ltd we take your online security very seriously. As such, we have prepared the following guidelines and information to help you enjoy trouble free browsing when visiting our web site or interacting with us.
Tea Too Pty Ltd will never ask you to provide personal information like your bank details, credit card details, your address, driving licence or passport numbers via email.

Risk Of Loss
All items purchased from Tea Too Pty Ltd are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
GST
Unless stated to be otherwise, charges referred to for use of any services or purchase of any product provided by Tea Too Pty Ltd are GST inclusive. Tea Too Pty Ltd will issue a Tax Invoice for all purchases. GST means the Australian goods and services tax charged under A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 (the "Act"). Tax invoice means tax invoice as defined by the Act.
Third party links and advertising
Hyperlinks and pointers to web sites operated by third parties will appear on Tea Too Pty Ltd from time to time. These web sites do not form part of the Website and are not under the control of Tea Too Pty Ltd or its related bodies corporate and neither Tea Too Pty Ltd nor its related companies have any responsibility for the contents of any such hyperlink or linked web site. If you link to any such web sites you leave the Website and do so entirely at your own risk.
The Website displays third party advertisements, which may or may not contain hyperlinks or referral buttons to web sites operated by third parties. The display of such advertising does not in any way imply a recommendation or endorsement by Tea Too Pty Ltd or its related bodies corporate of the relevant advertiser, its products or services or any such linked web site.
If you contact a third party using functionality provided on the Website, including via email, Tea Too Pty Ltd accepts no responsibility for any actions taken by that third party in response to your communication or for any transactions entered into between you and the relevant third party.
Errors And Omissions
Tea Too Pty Ltd endeavours to maintain the accuracy of product images, product descriptions, stock availability and prices, we do however reserve the right to cancel an order and/or reverse a payment if an order has been placed based on erroneous information.
Delivery
In rural and regional areas of Australia, delivery times for Express Parcel Services are in respect of delivery to the Post Office of the principal township in that area. Delivery to final destinations may take longer. If in doubt please check with your local Post Office.
Returns
Tea Too Pty Ltd will accept returns in accordance with Victorian and Australian law. Returns are also accepted with prior approval from Tea Too Pty Ltd where a return authority number will be issued and must be with 30 days of invoice. The item must be unused and the packaging in new condition.
Repairs and Warranties
If a product is faulty please contact us immediately so as to authorize a repair or replacement. If an item arrives and is faulty on arrival please contact us within 14 days so we can arrange a replacement or repair.

Eligibility
Entry to this competition is open to Australian and New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over.
Employees (and their immediate family members) of agencies/companies directly associated with the conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter, businesses involved in determination of winner/s for the Promotion, businesses involved in the management of the Promotion, any organisation benefiting from the Promotion, the Promoter’s distributors, suppliers, subsidiary companies/businesses and associated companies and agencies are not eligible to enter. By entering, entrants consent to being contacted by email for marketing purposes by T2 and for their name and competition entry being published via T2 marketing channels if a winner.

Winner Determination
The Promotion is run as a game of skill and entrants will be judged by representatives of the Promoter based on the creativity of their answer provided to the competition question. Chance plays no part in determining the winners. The judges may select additional reserve entries which they determine to be the next best, and record them in order, in case of an invalid entry or ineligible entrant.
Judging to determine the winners will take place at 09:00 AEST on Monday 26th August 2024 at 32 Gipps Street, Collingwood VIC 3066.
The best four (4) valid entries from Australia and New Zealand entrants, as determined by the judges, will each win one (1) of the prizes specified above.
The judges' decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

Winner Notification, Publication & Unclaimed Prizes

The winners will also be contacted via a direct message on Instagram concurrently.
The winners have 1 week to claim their prize before forfeiting it to a newly selected winner.
If required, secondary winners will be determined at 09:00 AEST Monday the 2nd September 2024 at 32 Gipps Street, Collingwood VIC 3066.
The secondary selected winners will be announced on the T2 Australia & New Zealand Instagram page ( https://www.instagram.com/t2tea/ ) at 12:00 AEST on Monday 2nd September 2024.
The secondary winners will also be contacted via a direct message on Instagram concurrently. The winners will again have 1 week to claim the prize from first attempt at notification by the Promoter. If they fail to claim the prize by this time they will forfeit their right to the prize. The Promoter may at that stage re-award the prize to the next best entry, or withdraw the prize unawarded. The Promoter is under no obligation to award any unclaimed prize.
Further Conditions
- The entrant agrees and acknowledges that they have read these Terms and Conditions and that entry into the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Any capitalised terms used in these Terms and Conditions have the meaning given in the Schedule, unless stated otherwise.
- Valid and eligible entries will be accepted during the Promotional Period.
- If any winner chooses not to take their prize (or is unable to), or does not take or claim a prize by the time specified by the Promoter, or is unavailable, they forfeit the prize and the Promoter is not obliged to substitute the prize.
- Entry and continued participation in the Promotion is dependent on the entrant following and acting in accordance with the Instagram Terms of Use, ( http://instagram.com/legal/terms/ ). This Promotion adheres to the terms and conditions set out in the Instagram promotion guidelines which can be found at: http://help.instagram.com/179379842258600 . - The value of the prizes is accurate and based upon the recommended retail value of the prizes (inclusive of GST) as at Monday 19th August 2024. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prizes after that date.
- No part of a prize is exchangeable, redeemable for cash, gift card(s) or any other prize or transferable, unless otherwise specified in writing by the Promoter.
- Any breakages or loss of any prize after receipt is at the fault of the winner and will not be replaced.
- If a prize (or portion of a prize) is unavailable the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that portion of the prize) to a prize of equal or greater value and specification.
- No entry fee is charged by the Promoter to enter the Promotion. Where entry is allowed online, there is no additional cost to enter the Promotion other than any cost paid by the entrant to access the website or social media platform of entry via their Internet service provider.
- If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant or winner, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant or winner.
- Entrants' personal information will be collected by the Promoter. Personal information will be stored on the Promoter's database. The Promoter may use this information for future marketing purposes regarding its products, including contacting the entrant electronically. The Promoter collects personal information about entrants to enable them to participate in this Promotion and may disclose the entrants' personal information to third parties including its contractors and agents, prize suppliers and service providers to assist in conducting this Promotion. If the entrant does not provide their personal information as requested, they may be ineligible to enter or claim a prize in the Promotion. - For the purposes of public statements and advertisements, the Promoter may only publish the winner's surname, initial and State/Territory/Country or postcode of residence.
- The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner to take part in any or all aspects of a prize, if the Promoter determines in their absolute discretion, that a winner is not in the physical or mental condition necessary to be able to safely participate in or accept the prize. It is a condition of accepting the prize that a winner may be required to sign a legal release as determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion, prior to receiving a prize.
- If a prize is provided to the Promoter by a third party, the prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the third party prize supplier and the provision of the prize is the sole responsibility of the third party and not the Promoter. The terms and conditions which apply to the prize at the time it is issued to the winner will prevail over these Terms and Conditions, to the extent of any inconsistency. The Promoter accepts no responsibility or liability for any delay or failure by the third party to deliver the prize, any delay or failure relating to the prize itself or failure by the third party to meet any of its obligations in these Terms and Conditions or otherwise.
- Any guarantee or warranty given is in addition to any relevant statutory guarantees and warranties and nothing in these Terms and Conditions restricts, excludes or modifies or purports to restrict, exclude or modify any statutory consumer rights under any applicable law including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ) and/or Fair Trading Act 1986 (NZ) and the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
- If for any reason any aspect of this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend or modify a prize.
- The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to validate and check the authenticity of entries and entrant's details (including an entrant's identity, age and place of residence). In the event that a winner cannot provide suitable proof as required by the Promoter to validate their entry, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered. Incomplete, indecipherable, inaudible, incorrect and illegible entries, as applicable, will at the Promoter's discretion be deemed invalid and not eligible to win. Entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third party rights, including intellectual property rights, are not eligible to win. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an individual to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and may render all entries submitted by that individual invalid.
- All material submitted on entry (e.g. photo(s), image(s), drawing(s), comment(s), sound/video recording(s) and answer(s) to a promotional question) must NOT: (a) be in breach of any laws, regulations and rights, e.g. any laws regarding intellectual property (copyright, trademarks, etc), defamation and privacy; (b) be defamatory, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, sexually inappropriate, contain nudity, aggressive, violent, abusive, harassing, threatening, objectionable or discriminate/vilify any section of the community with respect to race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, origin, sexual preference, mental illness, disability or gender or unsuitable for publication; or (c) contain viruses. Entrants further agree, upon request by the Promoter, to assign all of their rights, title and interest (including copyright) in and to their entry to the Promoter and to sign any legal documentation to confirm such assignment. Entrants agree that their entry is their original work and does not infringe the rights of third parties, or that they have obtained full prior consent from any person who has jointly created or has any rights in the aforementioned material. Entrants consent to any use of their entry that may otherwise infringe their moral rights. Entrants are responsible for all entries they submit on entry. The Promoter will not be liable for any entries, to the extent permitted by law. The Promoter will have no liability to entrants if it exercises this right and entrants must comply with any request made by the Promoter pursuant to this paragraph. The entrant warrants and represents that any material sent or provided by the entrant to the Promoter will not infringe any copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights of any third party (including moral rights) and that the entrant has all rights to use the materials and has obtained all necessary consents to comply with any relevant privacy and/or confidentiality requirements. Entrants agree to indemnify the Promoter for any breach of the Terms and Conditions including this clause.
- The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions. In the event that there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Promotion or claiming a prize, the Promoter will resolve the dispute in direct consultation with the entrant. If the dispute cannot be resolved the Promoter’s decision will be final.
- The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person's negligence or willful misconduct) in connection with this Promotion or accepting or using any prize (or recommendation), except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).

- Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
Terms and Conditions – Review to win
- By reviewing a T2 tea product with 115 words or more, all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy. Any violation of these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification. 2. To enter the Competition, eligible entrants must, during the Promotion Period: - Go to t2tea.com.au - Submit a Rating/Review of 115 words or more (up to a maximum of 350 words) about a T2 product currently sold by T2 and purchased by the Reviewer online and instore; and - register their e-mail address.
- The Competition commences at 9:00am Australian East Standard Time (AEST) on the first day of each month from 1st September 2024 and ends at 11:59pm AEST on the final day of said month (Promotion Period). Entries submitted and received by the Promoter after this time will not be accepted. The time of entry will in each case be the time which the online entry is publicly listed on t2tea.com.au, not the time of transmission by the entrant.

- This competition is a game of skill and entrants are required to demonstrate skill, talent, creativity and/or imagination in their answer in order to compete. - The winner will be determined by a judging panel at the offices of T2 tea, located at 32 Gipps Street, Collingwood 3066 on the on the second Wednesday of each month. The judges’ decision is final.

The Terms of Use govern the use of your T2 Gift Card and we reserve the right to amend these Terms of Use, at our discretion, from time to time. Gift Card Definitions and Interpretation
In these Terms of Use, the following definitions and interpretations apply:
- Words importing the singular number include the plural and vice-versa and words importing any gender include all other genders.
- Headings are for reference only and shall not affect the construction of these Terms of Use.
- Any reference to “dollars” or “$” is a reference to Australian currency, unless otherwise stated.
- The following words shall have meaning given to them:
“ Card Balance” means the remaining or unspent credit on a T2 Gift Card.“ Expiry Date” means the date, being 36 months from the date on which credit is loaded on to the T2 Gift Card at a point of sale in a T2 store, after which any remaining or unspent credit on the T2 Gift Card will not be Redeemable. “ PIN” means the 4-digit number on the back of a T2 Gift Card which is required to make a transaction or a Card Balance enquiry.“ Redeem” means to reduce the credit loaded on a T2 Gift Card by using the T2 Gift Card to purchase goods or services from us and “ Redeeming”, “ Redeemed” and “ Redeemable” have a corresponding meaning. “ Serial Number” means the number which appears beneath the barcode on back of a T2 Gift Card. “ T2” means Tea Too Pty Ltd ABN 61 072 399 529 of 69 Salmon Street, Port Melbourne. “ T2 Gift Card” means a gift card, issued by T2, which you have purchased or received. “ T2 Privacy Policy” means the T2’s privacy policy which is available for viewing and downloading on the Website, as amended from time to time.“ Website” means www.t2tea.com. A reference to “we”, “us”or “our”is a reference to T2. A reference to “you”or “your”is a reference to the person who is taken to agree to these Terms of Use pursuant to clause 3.
Gift Card Acceptance of Terms of Use
These Terms of Use apply to every T2 Gift Card.
By purchasing, Redeeming or attempting to Redeem a T2 Gift Card or enquiring as to the Card Balance on a T2 Gift Card, you:
- accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use;
- acknowledge that you have read and understood the T2 Privacy Policy; and
- warrant to us that you will comply with these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and that the T2 Gift Card will not be used in any manner which is unlawful, misleading, deceptive, unfair or otherwise harmful to consumers.
If you intend to give a T2 Gift Card to another person, you should ensure that the person is aware of these Terms of Use and the Expiry Date.
Purchasing a T2 Gift Card
T2 Gift Cards can be purchased online via the Website or from any T2 store. For more information regarding the location of T2 stores, please visit the Website.
A minimum of $ 10credit and a maximum of $ 500credit can be loaded on any T2 Gift Card by presenting the card at a point of sale in a T2 store. At our absolute discretion, we may change the minimum and maximum amounts of credit that can be loaded on T2 Gift Card. If we decide to change these amounts, we will publish a notice advising of any such changes on the Website.
There may be a delay between when credit is loaded onto a T2 Gift Card and when the T2 Gift Card is activated by our point of sale system. During the period of delay, the T2 Gift Card can not be used to make purchases or to enquire as to the Card Balance.
Your T2 Gift Card is valid for use 36 months from date of purchase. The date of purchase will be written on the T2 Gift Card by a T2 store employee immediately after credit is loaded on to the T2 Gift Card. Any remaining or unspent credit cannot be used or Redeemed after the expiry date.
Redeeming your T2 Gift Card
Your T2 Gift Card can be Redeemed for goods and services from T2 stores and the Website up to the amount of the Card Balance. Any credit Redeemed is deducted from the Card Balance.
Your T2 Gift Card may be Redeemed for goods and services from the Website by entering the Serial Number and the PIN when prompted to do so by the Website. Your use of the T2 Gift Card to acquire goods and services from the Website is at all times governed by the Website’s terms of use.
Your T2 Gift Card may be Redeemed for goods and services from any T2 store by presenting the T2 Gift Card at the point of sale in the T2 store. Your use of the T2 Gift Card at any T2 store is subject to the policies (and, where applicable, other terms of use) of that T2 store regarding the goods and services made available by it.
Where the price of the goods or services being purchased with a T2 Gift Card exceeds the Card Balance, you must pay the amount exceeding the Card Balance by an alternative method, subject to acceptance of such alternative method by the Website or the T2 store in its absolute discretion (whichever is applicable).
The resale of T2 Gift Cards is strictly prohibited, except with our prior written consent. Subject to our prior written consent, T2 Gift Cards can not be sold for more than the value of the credit which was originally loaded on to it. T2 Gift Cards which are resold in breach of this clause will be invalid with the result that purchasers of such T2 Gift Cards will not be able to use or Redeem the Card Balance on their T2 Gift Card.
The use of T2 Gift Cards is restricted to the purchase of standard retail quantities of T2 goods and services.
No re-loading of T2 Gift Cards and no cash advances
Credit may be loaded on to a T2 Gift Card only once. Once the Card Balance of a T2 gift Card has reached a nil balance, it can not be reused, re-loaded or re-activated.
You can not obtain any cash advance with a T2 Gift Card or Redeem (in whole or in part) a T2 Gift Card for cash.
Gift Card Balance enquiries
You can check the Card Balance, Expiry Date and transaction history of your T2 Gift Card by speaking to one of our staff in-store, visiting our Website or contacting our Customer Care department on 1300 TEA TOO (1300 832 866)
To make any of the above enquires; you must provide the Serial Number and the PIN of the T2 Gift Card.
Lost, stolen or damaged T2 Gift Cards
You must treat your T2 Gift Card like cash. If your T2 Gift Card is lost, stolen or damaged, please contact the T2 store from which you purchased the T2 Gift Card or the person or organisation who gave you the T2 Gift Card. However, we have no obligation to replace the lost, stolen or damaged T2 Gift Card or reimburse you for the amount of the Card Balance on such T2 Gift Card except where the T2 Gift Card is proven to be faulty or damaged as a result of the production process or otherwise due to the fault of us, our agents or contractors and we have breached any condition or warranty implied under any relevant and applicable consumer protection legislation which can not be excluded in these Terms of Use.
We reserve the right to deactivate your T2 Gift Card if:
(a) you inform us that your T2 Gift Card has been lost, stolen or damaged; or
(b) we reasonably believe that you have used, or will use, your T2 Gift Card in breach of these Terms of Use.
Gift Card Liability
You are responsible for the use and safety of your T2 Gift Card and are liable for all transactions made on your T2 Gift Card, except to the extent to which there has been fraud or negligence by us or any of our employees.
Subject at all times to the exceptions in clause 9.3 below, we are not liable to you for any loss or damage (whether direct, indirect, consequential or special) either in negligence, other tort, breach of contract, breach of warranty or for any other reason or cause whatsoever, arising out of or in connection with a T2 Gift Card, these Terms of Use or your use of the Website, including any loss or corruption of data, interference with or damage to your computer or any interruption, delay or failure in the Website.
The exclusion of our liability in clause 9.2 above only applies to the extent permitted by law. Where any relevant and applicable consumer protection legislation implies any condition or warranty that can not be excluded in these Terms of Use, we limit our liability for breach of any such implied conditions or warranties to the re-supply of the services (or costs thereof). Any liability we have to you will be reduced by the extent (if any) to which you caused or contributed to the loss or damage. This clause 9 will apply even after these Terms of Use are no longer in effect.
Gift Card Relationship with T2
T2 Gift Cards may be used as personal or business gifts but may not be used in connection with any marketing, advertising or other promotional activities (including, without limitation, internet advertisements, emails, websites, telemarketing, direct mail, newspaper and magazine advertisements and radio and television broadcasts) unless you have obtained our prior written consent. T2 Gift Cards that are used in marketing, advertising or other promotional activities in breach of this clause 10.1 will be invalid with the result that recipients of such T2 Gift Cards will be unable to Redeem the credit loaded on the T2 Gift Cards.
Use of our name or brands or any names, logos or design in relation to T2 Gift Cards (except when used in connection with the purchase or use of T2 Gift Cards pursuant to these Terms of Use), is strictly prohibited.
You must not use a T2 Gift Card in any manner that states or implies that any person, website, business, product or service is endorsed, sponsored or otherwise affiliated with us or any of our subsidiaries or affiliates.
Gift Card Questions and complaints

Any complaints about goods or services purchased with a T2 Gift Card should, in the first instance, be resolved directly with the store from which the goods or services were purchased.
Gift Card General Provisions
These Terms of Use are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the applicable law in the State of Victoria, Australia, irrespective of where a T2 Gift Card is purchased or used. In any action or other legal process with respect to any matter or thing in connection with these Terms of Use, you irrevocably submit to the authority of the Courts having jurisdiction in the State of Victoria, Australia.
Nothing in these Terms of Use affects any rights you may have and which by law cannot be excluded including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010.
If part of all of any clause of these Terms of Use is illegal, invalid or unenforceable then it will be read down to the extent necessary to ensure that it is not illegal, invalid or unenforceable, but if that is not possible, it will be severed from these Terms of Use and the remaining clauses in these Terms of Use will continue to have full force and effect.
T2 Tea Society Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms and Conditions form the basis of the Tea Society. They are intended to protect both Members and T2. It is the Member’s responsibility to read and understand them.
1.2 These Terms and Conditions are effective as at the date specified above and are available from the Website. Any material amendments to these Terms and Conditions will be notified to Members in accordance with clause 3.2.
1.3 An applicant wishing to join the Tea Society will be provided with an email which will provide an overview of the Benefits of joining the Tea Society and which will direct the applicant to the Website for a copy of these Terms and Conditions.
1.4 Every Member is bound by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Definitions and Interpretation
In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions and interpretations apply:

“Accepted Payment Card” means one of the credit cards, charge cards or debit cards which a Member must use to make a payment, or such other form of payment as approved by T2 from time to time.
“Benefits” means any discount, service or arrangement offered or available to a Member as a result of membership in the Tea Society subject to showing a photo ID, including (but not limited to) invitations to Tea Society events, exclusive Member offers, complimentary samples, a free cup of tea on your birthday week etc.
“Loyalty Membership Number” means the number assigned to a Member’s Membership by T2 pursuant to clause 5.9.
“Member” means an individual who is a member of the Tea Society.
“Membership” means membership of the Tea Society.
“Membership Level” means a level of membership of the Tea Society, as described in clause 12.
“Password” means the personal identification number which is issued to the Member by T2 or nominated by the Member and accepted by T2 (whichever is applicable) pursuant to clause 5.9.
“Taxes” means the goods and services tax or similar value added tax levied or imposed in the jurisdiction of Australia, United Kingdom, United States of America or New Zealand as applicable, pursuant to the prevailing tax law(s) of the jurisdiction at the time.
“T2” means Tea Too Pty Ltd ABN 61 072 399 529 of 37-51 Wellington Street, Collingwood, Victoria 3066, Australia.
“T2 Gift Card” means a gift card, issued by T2, which has been loaded with credit for a certain monetary value.
“Tea Society” means the loyalty program operated by T2;
“Tea Society Members” means Members on the Tea Society Level.
“Terms and Conditions” means these Terms and Conditions between T2 and each Member, as amended by T2 from time to time.
“Website” means www.t2tea.com.
3. Changes to the Tea Society
3.1 Subject to clause 3.2, T2 reserves the right to make any amendments (whether material or otherwise) to the Tea Society, these Terms and Conditions and any Benefits offered, including amendments to Benefits including the continued availability of Benefits;
3.2 T2 will use all reasonable efforts to advise Members of material amendments to these Terms and Conditions and where such changes will affect the Benefits provided by T2 to Members, T2 will endeavor to give Members at least 4 weeks’ notice.
3.3 Without limiting this clause 3 in any way, Members will be taken to have received the notice referred to in clause 3.2 if T2 notifies Members of the amendments by:
(a) providing notice at the email address or postal address provided to T2 by the Member;
4. Termination or suspension of the Tea Society
4.1 T2 gives no warranty as to the continuing availability of the Tea Society and may terminate or suspend the Tea Society at any time. T2 will give at least 30 days’ notice to Members of such termination or suspension, in the manner set out in clause 3.3, unless T2 ceases to operate a retail business in which case the Tea Society will cease immediately.
4.2 If T2 terminates or suspends the Tea Society and it ceases to operate a retail business, T2 may terminate or cancel any Benefits immediately and without notice or liability to Members.
5. Membership
5.1 Membership of the Tea Society is only open to individuals. Membership is not open to families, groups, companies, trusts, partnerships, other entities, government departments, agencies, animals or inanimate objects.
5.2 Persons wishing to become Members must apply for Membership by completing a Membership application form, either in a T2 store or via the Website.
5.3 Membership is offered at the sole discretion of T2. T2 has the right to accept or reject any application for Membership without providing any reasons to the applicant.
5.4 T2 has the right to terminate the Membership of any Member in accordance with clause 8.
5.5 Members may cancel their Membership at any time by logging into their customer account and using the ‘delete function’ or contacting us here and selecting the ‘Tea Society’ drop down in the menu. Deleting an account is irreversible and includes the loss of all your data. Using the same email address to re-join Tea Society will not facilitate another 10% discount.
5.6 A Member may not hold more than 1 Membership at any time.
5.7 An applicant who completes a Membership application in a T2 store will be sent an introductory email which will provide an overview of the Benefits of joining the Tea Society and which will direct the applicant to the Website for a copy of these Terms and Conditions.
5.8 An applicant who completes a Membership application form via the Website will receive a personalised email, which will provide an overview of the Benefits of joining the Tea Society and which will direct the applicant to the Website for a copy of these Terms & Conditions.
5.9 All successful applicants will be assigned a Loyalty Membership Number and a Password. The Password, Loyalty Membership Number, Member’s first and surname and the Member’s email address will be used for security of the Member’s Membership information. It is the Member’s responsibility to ensure that their Password and other security information are kept secure.
5.10 Members must advise T2 of any change of name, address or other details, as soon as practicable after such change occurs, by either logging into their account via the Website and making the changes directly. T2 is not responsible for loss caused by any failure by a Member to notify T2 of any changes in accordance with this clause or for any incorrect information notified to T2.
6. Use of Membership
6.1 By using the Loyalty Membership Number or by claiming any Benefit, the Member agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and provides the consents specified in clause 13 relating to personal information.
6.2 The Loyalty Membership Number and Password are valid for use only by the Member and are not transferable in any circumstances. If the Member is notified of a validity period of the Loyalty Membership Number and/or Password, the Loyalty Membership Number and/or Password may only be used and will only be valid during such period.
6.3 In the event of the loss, theft or unauthorised use of a Member’s Loyalty Membership Number or Password, it is the Member’s responsibility to notify T2 in writing as soon as possible. The Member is liable for all use of the Loyalty Membership Number or Password until T2 is notified in writing of the loss, theft or unauthorised use.
7. Member Obligations
7.1 Members must not:
(a) act in any way which breaches these Terms and Conditions;
(b) abuse or misuse the Tea Society, Benefits, facilities, services or arrangements provided to the Member as a result of membership including by:
(i) engaging in illegal or fraudulent activities;
(ii) supplying or attempting to supply false or misleading information;
(iii) selling, assigning, transferring or acquiring, or offering to sell, assign, transfer or acquire any Benefit other than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions; or
(iv) acting in a hostile, abusive or aggressive manner toward T2 staff or fellow customers of T2.
7.2 Members are responsible for regularly checking their Membership account via the Website and must notify T2 of any omissions, incorrect entries or other discrepancies within 60 days of the omission, incorrect entry or other discrepancy having occurred to enable T2 to make any corrections (if required) to the Membership account.
8. Termination or suspension of Membership
8.1 If a Member has committed a material breach of any of these Terms and Conditions, whether intentionally or otherwise, T2 may take any one or more of the following actions:
(a) suspend or terminate the Member’s Membership;
(b) cancel or refuse to honour any Benefits that have been redeemed by or provided to the Member.
8.2 If T2 intends to take any of the actions specified in clause 8.1, T2 will provide written notification to the Member of its intentions and reasons for doing so. The Member will have 21 days to respond to this notice by rectifying the breach (if possible) and by providing T2 with reasons why T2 should not take such action. T2 will review the Member’s response and advise the Member of its decision and may suspend the Member’s account until the review is complete.
8.3 Membership will terminate automatically upon the death of a Member and Benefits earned by that Member but not redeemed prior to death will be automatically cancelled. T2 will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered by any person as a result of such cancellation.
9. Personal Information
9.1 The Member consents and authorises T2 to collect, use and disclose the information that T2 collects in relation to the Member for the purposes of:
(a) T2 providing goods and services to Members, including providing Benefits;
(c) T2 marketing its goods and services or the goods and services of selected third parties;
(d) any third party providing services to T2 in connection with the administration of the Tea Society.
This information may be transferred between Australia, New Zealand, United States of America, France and/or the United Kingdom for these purposes. If all or any part of the requested information is not provided by the Member, the services provided to that Member by T2 may be affected.
9.2 If a Member requests, and to the extent permitted or required by law, T2 will provide that Member with access to and the ability to correct their personal information held by T2 by writing to T2’s address, noted above in these terms and conditions. Only the Member named on the Membership will be entitled to access Membership information.
9.3 This clause 9 survives the termination of these Terms and Conditions and the termination or suspension of the Tea Society.
9.4 Further information regarding T2’ privacy practices are available by viewing or downloading T2’s privacy policy on the Website.
10. Liability
10.1 T2 acknowledges that certain laws imply terms, conditions and warranties into contracts for the supply of goods or services which can not be excluded.
10.2 Subject to clause 14.1, to the extent permitted by law T2 and any of its officers, employees or agents are not liable for any loss or claim of any kind (including, without limitation, indirect, consequential or economic loss or loss of profits) arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions or the Tea Society, including, without limitation, any changes to these Terms and Conditions or Tea Society, save to the extent that such loss or claim arises from the negligence or wilful misconduct of T2 or any of its officers, employees or agents.
11. General Provisions
11.1 These Terms and Conditions and Membership are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the applicable law in the State of Victoria, Australia, irrespective of where the application for Membership was completed by the Member or submitted to T2. In any action or other legal process with respect to any matter or thing in connection with these Terms and Conditions or Membership, the Member irrevocably submits to the authority of the Courts having jurisdiction in the State of Victoria, Australia.
11.2 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects any rights a Member may have and which by law cannot be excluded including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010(Cth).
11.3 If part of all of any clause of these Terms and Conditions is illegal, invalid or unenforceable then it will be read down to the extent necessary to ensure that it is not illegal, invalid or unenforceable, but if that is not possible, it will be severed from these Terms and Conditions and the remaining clauses in these Terms and Conditions will continue to have full force and effect.
12. Promotion
Show your student ID to receive 10% off tea and tea packs* until the offer is cancelled. The discount is available on full priced goods sold in-store at T2 Stores and T2 Brew Bars and is only available to Tea Society members (excluding online store and wholesale orders). The discount may not be used to purchase gift cards or tea packs that include tea wares.
To redeem the discount, customers must show a valid student ID card (student concession card, tertiary student ID, school student ID) at the checkout in-store. T2 reserves the right to refuse any student ID that it deems to be invalid or fraudulent. The discount may not be exchanged for cash and is non-transferrable. The discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer (including Team Discount). T2 reserves the right to cancel this offer at any time.

Tea Time Card Terms and Conditions
Tea Time Cards will no longer be issued after 9th October 2019, or until card stock in stores has run out. Current Tea Time Cards will be valid until 31st December 2019. After this date all Tea Time Cards will be invalid. This will apply to all members, regardless of their joining date.

Here at T2, we value social media as a channel for us to build a community of passionate tea lovers. It’s a place where we connect with our customers, whether that be providing information on our products or helping service our customers, we’re here for you!
To maintain and nurture a vibrant online community, it’s important that we lay some ground rules on ways we engage on social media. On T2 owned social media channels, we reserve the right to moderate all communications within our online community, this means that we will remove all posts/comments that include:
- Any violent, obscene, profane, racist, homophobic, transphobic, denigrating or generally hateful comments
- Sexually explicit content and content commenting on sexuality or gender (assumed or otherwise)
- Content that aims to blackmail/manipulate an individual
- Comments that include personal attacks towards an individual
- Commenting on a person’s appearance, e.g. writing offensive comments around someone’s physical appearance
- Comments that threaten to, or aim to harm the reputation of any person or organisation
- Unauthorised commercial solicitations (such as spam)
- Comments suggesting or encouraging illegal activity
- Multiple off-topic posts or repetitive posts that are copied and pasted
- Posting comments that include an individual’s personal information including, but not limited to, name, e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, mailing addresses, or identification numbers.
In the case of repeat offenders, we reserve the right to indefinitely ban users from any and all of our channels. The mental health and wellbeing of our team members is important to us. We want to ensure that we maintain a respectful and safe environment for everyone, free from aggression, violence, antisocial behaviour and any form of discrimination.
These behaviours towards team members will not be tolerated and is not acceptable. Although most abuse is verbal in nature, and the impact on our team members may not be visible, the effect can be negative and lasting.

T2 has final editorial control over any materials produced by T2 utilising or incorporating the Content and Your Likeness (or element thereof) and you hereby waive any right you may have to inspect or approve such materials.
