Our values shape our culture, influence who we are, what we do, and who joins our family. They are embedded into our DNA and in how we work together as a united Brewing Force for Good.

“You don't have to look far to see examples of teammates striving to live out our T2 values everyday through their acts of courage, accountability, curiosity, passion, creativity and generosity. These are the T2 values that we hold close to our hearts and they're what makes us... us.”
Diversity & Inclusion
T2’s Diversity and Inclusion (DE&I) committee is in place to support and facilitate a diverse and inclusive workplace at T2.
The diversity of our people is one of our greatest strengths. We value and recognise the benefit of individual differences in the workplace, which supports both the realisation of an individual’s full potential and the achievement of T2’s strategic imperatives.
This is reflective of our community globally and we are committed to a culturally safe workplace that fosters diversity and inclusion. Our people are as diverse as our teas and the people who enjoy them, our aim is to embrace all that makes us different and unique.
To create an inclusive workplace where everyone belongs, we have:
- Established a dynamic and engaged global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Steering Committee (DE&I).
- Delivered a transparent Diversity & Inclusion action plan with clear deliverables.
- Introduced interactive discussion groups for team members to have open and safe conversations around diversity, equity and inclusion topics.
- Completed a maturity assessment conducted by our partners Jobsbank. The output will be a roadmap that our DE&I Committee will focus on for the next 12 months.
- Begun regular reporting on issues that matter to our people, which we know from surveys conducted with T2 Tea Members.
- Established partnerships with multicultural organisations such as Diversity Australia, Jobsbank Victoria, Wise Employment, and Koskela. Whilst continuing our relationship with Ajiri Foundation and Qantas Future Planet.
- Contributed financial support to Black Rainbow in Australia and Switchboard LGBTQ+ Helpline in the United Kingdom.
- Embraced the celebration and education of key events that promote diversity across the globe, including but not limited to International Women’s Day, Reconciliation Week, NAIDOC, Pride Month and Harmony Day.
- Introduced new policies to support our team members including paid family leave, menstrual and menopause leave and Juneteeth leave.
- Introduced guides for team members including ‘How to be an anti-racism ally’ and ‘Communications Between First Nations and Non-Indigenous People’.
- Introduced a Words at Work program which continues to be updated and reviewed, this focuses on defining inclusive language in the workplace.
- Added to our in-store pronoun badges he/they, she/they
Our Community
Our Volunteer Leave Program provides our teams globally an opportunity to volunteer with a community organisation that is meaningful to them, creating a true sense of giving back to the local communities we live, work and play in.
