How to make cold brew

Enjoy a smooth, naturally sweet cold brew tea with minimal effort.

Simply steep your favorite tea bags or loose leaf in cold water for 5-10 minutes, and you'll have a refreshing beverage ready to enjoy.

Serves 1 person
Ingredients
  • 1 T2 Cold Brew bag, per 500ml
  • Cold water
Tools
  • Tall glass, bottle or teapot
  • T2 Jug-A-Lot, if sharing

Method

  • 1

Add a Cold Brew tea bag to a tall glass, bottle or teapot.

If you’re using a loose leaf tea, simply pop it into an infuser or mesh ball infuser that fits your tall glass, bottle or teapot.

    To make enough to share: a 1.2L Jug-A-Lot with 3 tea bags will brew 3 – 4 servings. Or a 2.0L Jug-A-Lot with 4 tea bags will serve 6 – 8.

  • 2

    Fill it with cold water.

Filtered water works best for taste, but any water you would drink will do the job too.

Fridge-temperature water is preferred, but if you’re using water straight from the tap you can always add a few cubes of iced to your tea once the brewing is complete.

  • 3

Leave to infuse for 5-10 minutes.

If you like stronger tastes, add an extra tea bag to your bottle. Alternatively, experiment using 1 tea bag and a longer brew duration.

  • 4

Remove the tea bag or infuser. Add ice if desired.

Store it in the fridge in an airtight container.
