How to brew Baker's Breakfast

  • 1 tsp per cup
  • 3-5 mins
  • 100°C (212°F)

    Boil the kettle. Warm your cup or pot first by adding a splash of boiling water. Swill and discard.

    Add 1 teaspoon of Bakers Breakfast to your infuser and place the infuser in your cup or mug. To make a pot, the general rule is 1 teaspoon per 250 ml.

    Fill the cup or pot with freshly boiled water. Avoid heating water in the microwave.

    Infuse for 3-5 minutes, or to desired strength.

    Remove the infuser. Add a splash of milk and your favourite sweetener to taste, optional. Sip and enjoy!

Brew tip

Try frothing your milk before adding it to your brewed tea, then spinkle cocoa powder on top.

Iced Baker's Breakfast Mont Blanc

Serves 1 person
Ingredients
  • T2 Baker's Breakfast
  • 100ml boiled water
  • Ice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla or maple syrup
  • 50ml milk
  • 50ml cream
Tools
  • Teamaker or infuser in a mug
  • Heatproof glass tumbler
  • Electric whisk
  • Bowl
Tip
To try making this recipe hot simply brew with 200ml of water and skip the ice. The contrast of hot tea and cold foam is deliciously unexpected.
Method

    Make a concentrate by adding 2 teaspoons of Baker's Breakfast to an infuser and place the infuser in a cup or jug.

    Fill the cup or pot with 100 ml of freshly boiled water. Set a timer and brew for 3-5 minutes depending on how strong you'd like your tea. Remove infuser.

    Add ice, vanilla syrup and the concentrate you made in step 1 to a glass tumbler.

    To make your cold foam, in a separate bowl whip cream and cold milk until it's light and frothy. Add to the top of your tumbler, you might have left over cold foam.

    Top with orange zest or chocolate powder, depending on your taste.
