Description:
These long spear-shaped leaves from Zhejiang Province look less like Chinese tea and more like Japanese sencha. The tea is hand-fried in large woks to impart a distinctive flavour and aroma. A clear infusion with a slightly yellow hue produces a fresh and bright aroma with hints of chestnuts, green nutty flavours and a whisper of smoke on the finish. A smooth and refined brew.
Brew:
1 heaped teaspoon per 200mls, brew 2-3 minutes in water at 80 degrees Celsius.

A delicate tea that can be appreciated on its own, with a fruit dessert or a little milk chocolate. Complements milder dishes such as chicken, seafood, a light salad or creamy cheese. Quiet, refined and very versatile. Lung Ching Classic is said to have a cooling effect on the body, so can be served in summer for refreshing hydration.
