Description:
Descended from a strain of the ancient Dayeh tree species, Yunnan has long, twisted well-formed leaves with golden tips. Distinct from other China black teas, the fruity aroma is filled with delicious dried fruits and just a hint of smokiness. A full-bodied flavour is sweet and a little nutty, with hints of fruitcake and chocolate providing a smooth, well-rounded finish.
Brew:
1 slightly heaped teaspoon per 200mls, brew 2-4 minutes in water at 100 degrees Celsius. Good for 1-2 infusions.
Serve:
The full complexities of the tea are best enjoyed black, but this is the only Chinese tea that works with milk.

Strong-Medium

Black tea from China
Enjoy:
With its full and robust flavours, this is best in the morning through to noon when big taste is required.
